This model was constructed using many of the techniques described in the article on building the Bloodrunner model, including the deck and liftwood panels. More details of the construction will be found in the captions accompanying the pictures linked to the thumbnails above. An article on the construction of H.M.S. Wasp appeared in the September 1992 issue of FineScale Modeler magazine. The model was awarded First Place in the Scratch-built Science Fiction and Fantasy Vehicles class and the Judges Award for Spacecraft and Science Fiction at the 1990 IPMS Nationals in Miami.
