What to wear?  (general guidelines; keep in mind, these are to give you ideas, not to be used as rules.  Please feel free to use your imagination!)
Simplicity pattern catalogues online (see Costume section) - provides patterns for many periods and fantasy costumes, as well.   Other pattern makers also sell Renaissance costume patterns.

If you don't want to make a costume, you can do a search online for "Renaissance clothing", and you will find lots of other resources.
